Description from the seller

A beautiful and extremely rare National Panasonic SA-720 receiver with original SL-720 turntable, both fully functional and tested. This complete hi-fi system, built by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. Japan, embodies the precision and superb design of Japanese audio engineering from the early 1970s.

The receiver features a gorgeous wooden cabinet with a brushed aluminum front panel and chrome details, for a refined and timeless aesthetics. Two round green meters — one for FM and one for MW/LW — enhance the distinctive vintage appeal. The sound performance is warm, detailed and powerful, ideal for both analog enthusiasts and collectors.

The turntable is a perfect complement to the receiver, with an automatic return system, a hydraulic tonearm lift and a speed selector for 33 and 45 RPM records. The metal platter and the suspended chassis provide stable rotation and excellent vibration control. The smoked plexiglass dust cover is very nicely polished and has only a few minor signs of use.

This complete set has been carefully cleaned and lubricated where needed. For anyone seeking an iconic piece of Japanese hi-fi history, this is an exceptional opportunity.
