This lot features a Shapton Kuromaku (刃の黒幕 / Ha no Kuromaku) #1000 medium grit ceramic whetstone, model K0702, made in Japan.
The #1000 grit is considered an essential medium sharpening stone, ideal for regular knife maintenance and restoring sharpness. It is widely appreciated for its fast cutting performance and consistent results, and some users find it effective enough to reduce the need for a separate coarse stone in standard sharpening tasks.
The stone measures approximately 21 × 7 × 1.5 cm and comes with its original orange plastic storage case. It has been used only a few times. There are some color transfers and light signs of use, particularly along the sides, but the stone surface remains in good working condition with no visible cracks or significant damage.
