This sphere is made of pure native copper, mined from selected mines in the Western United States, one of the most iconic areas for copper mining since the nineteenth century.
The appearance is the unmistakable look of solid copper: a warm metallic surface, with hues ranging from orange-red to golden brown, crisscrossed by tiny natural undulations that reveal its artisanal craftsmanship.
