AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Twelve exclusive vermeil silver place settings made using the lost-wax casting technique and gilded with mercury. Their peculiarity lies not only in the meticulous casting technique and subsequent finish with the chisel, but also in the individualization of each of the subjects forming the ensemble. In fact, each component of the 'procession' bears the elements necessary to lay out a banquet: the bottle of wine, the carafe of water, the glass, the roast, the fruit, the coffee pot, the fish, the mushrooms, etc. etc. In the acanthus leaf placed at the base, a card with the guest's name is inserted. Condition: Perfect!!! With original green velvet box. Era: 1950s. The company F.A.F. S.r.l. Fabbrica argenteria fiorentina, owner of the 215 FI punchmark, ceased its activity pursuant to art. 26 of the regulation on the discipline of titles and marks of identification of precious metals, approved by decree of the President of the Republic, on December 30, 1970.
