A pair of Regency-era silver candlesticks from Sheffield, 1824 by John & Thomas Settle, in .925 sterling silver, height 29.5 cm with a 13.7 × 13.7 cm base, gross weight 1896 g, featuring round baluster bodies with applied acanthus leaves and hand-chased floral borders, removable nozzles and original wooden bases; good condition with minor aging and blemishes.

An Antique Georgian, very handsome pair of silver table candlesticks, having round baluster bodies with applied acanthus leaves and hand-chased floral and scroll borders, with removable nozzles, sitting on round and original wooden bases.
Made in Sheffield, 1824 (202 years old).

Fully English hallmarked for sterling 925 silver.
The dimensions of this pair of handmade antique silver candlesticks are:
Height: 29.5 cm
Base width: 13.7 × 13.7 cm
Approx. 949 + 947 = 1896 grams (Bruto weight, weighted for stability with materials other then silver) (bobeches together weigh 97 grams)
Condition: Good condition! Some tiny indentations here and there, mainly on the base rim. Some loss on the high points of the decoration. One has a slight wobble and has very slight loss of the inside weighting now and then.
