Pierre Cardin - Poker set - Montecarlo

Vintage poker set from the 1960s or 1970s, signed by the prestigious French designer Pierre Cardin. The box is brown velvet and contains 2 new cards and 48 ornate chips with gold leaf, including the signature on each of them. In total: 4 pieces of 10,000; 8 pieces of 5,000; 16 pieces of 1,000 and 20 pieces of 500, plus 4 dice.
It is a collectible item, of great value and originality. In excellent condition for its age, since some elements are even preserved with their plastic protective cover.

Pierre Cardin (Constant Cardin Pietro) was actually born in Italy, although he moved to Paris at a very young age. There he studied architecture and worked with several important designers, until becoming head of the Christian Dior Atelier, in 1947.
