Inkwell - Art Deco - Calacatta Viola Marble

Elegant Art Deco double desk inkwell crafted from Italian Calacatta Viola marble, featuring a substantial architectural base with two integrated ink reservoirs and original brass hinged lids.

The marble displays striking natural veining in cream, ivory, violet-grey and warm rust tones, characteristic of high-quality interwar Italian decorative stone. The piece is complemented by stepped green painted cast-metal elements in strong geometric Art Deco form, creating a refined contrast against the richly patterned marble.

Both inkwells retain their original glass inserts. The brass hinges are original, intact, and function smoothly.
