Description from the seller

An exceptional collection of 50 original French Art Nouveau / Art Deco gilt ornaments (circa 1920–1930)

A rare and beautifully preserved ensemble of 50 authentic French decorative elements dating from the 1920s to 1930s. These original gilt appliqués were crafted during the transitional period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, showcasing the elegant organic forms of the former and the refined geometry of the latter.

This collection has never been used — the pieces remain in excellent condition, stored untouched for nearly a century. Ideal for collectors, restorers, or interior designers seeking genuine early 20th-century detailing.

The lot includes:

* 10 hand-painted Rococo corner ornaments in pastel tones (approx. 4.5 × 3 cm)
* 10 gold-tone snowflake floral medallions (approx. 2.5 cm diameter)
* 10 large symmetrical appliqués with botanical and shield-like motifs (approx. 7.5 × 5 cm)
* 10 pierced filigree corner decorations (approx. 3 × 3 cm)
* 10 embossed square plaques with stylised floral reliefs (approx. 2.5 × 2.5 cm)

Finish: Original gilt over light metal
Condition: Excellent. Never used. Minor age-related patina may be present.
Era: Circa 1920–1930
Origin: France

A truly magnificent and rare opportunity to acquire untouched original stock of high decorative value — suitable for luxury restoration projects or as a collector’s display.

The lot will be carefully packed and shipped with registered post.
