Elegant small animal sculpture representing a powerful bull in an alert stance. The subject is treated with detailed realism, particularly in the musculature, the coat, and the movement of the tail. The piece rests on an integrated rocky terrace, itself mounted on an oval green onyx (or veined onyx marble) base.
​Materials and Technique :
​Subject : Bronze with an original gilded patina.
​Base : Genuine onyx displaying beautiful natural shades of green and rust.
​Details : Beautiful fineness of chiseling, particularly visible on the forehead fur and the animal's expression.
​Condition :
​Bronze : Very good overall condition. Normal wear to the gilding on the reliefs (time patina), which gives it a lot of character.
​Base : Good condition, no major chips visible.
