Adjustable antique piano stool in solid wood, circa 1900, made in France, with a 30 cm round seat, overall height 50 cm, seating height 45 cm, weight 8 kg, in walnut wood.
Description from the seller
19th-century piano stool / tabouret – turned wood – green velvet – approx. 1880 - adjustable height
Description
Elegant 19th-century piano stool (approx. 1880), crafted from solid wood (likely walnut or mahogany) with finely turned legs and a central baluster column. Height adjustable.
The stool stands on three turned legs with interconnecting stretchers and a central knop-shaped finish. The turning work is finely executed and shows clear artisanal characteristics from the late 19th century.
The round seat is upholstered in green velvet and finished with decorative galloon trim featuring a geometric motif. The height adjustment works well. The upholstery is plausibly renewed in a later period but aesthetically fits well with the character of the piece.

Period: approx. 1900
Material: solid wood (likely walnut/mahogany)
Turned legs and central column
Round fixed seat
Upholstered in green velvet with decorative trim

Original construction
Beautiful warm patina

Special:
Both functional and decorative: ideal for use with a piano, but also very suitable as an accent piece in a classical or eclectic interior.
