A very rare title with photos taken in Prague by the famous Japanese photographer Akira Sato.

Condition: like new, with complete dustjacket, no tears and obi. Interior clean, unmarked, no stains. Protected by a mylar sleeve.

"Prague / Praha" by Akira Sato (1930-2002), a photographer representing Japan after the war. Born in Azabu, Tokyo, in a blanket wholesaler, he grew up in an environment where foreign countries were familiar from an early age. In 1959, he formed VIVO with Ikko Narahara and Shomei Tomatsu, and in 1966 won the Photo Critics Association Award.
