Ashtray - .800 silver

Antique silver ashtray, 800/1000 silver content, Austria-Hungary ca. 1866 - 1922.

A silver mark with a head (specifically the head of Diana) and the number "3" indicates that the piece is made of 800 fineness silver (80% pure silver) from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This hallmark system was used between 1866 and 1922.

In good condition, with some signs of use here and there (see photos).
