Description from the seller

BULGARIA. 50 Leva. 1940. Boris III (1918-1943)

- Value: 50 Leva.
- Reign: Boris III (1918-1943).
- Year: 1940.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЬ НА БЪЛГАРИТЕ, king’s bust facing left, engraver A. BERAN’s signature on the neck. Reverse: 50 ЛЕВА · 1940, surrounded by a crown of ears of grain, oak leaves and roses tied with a bottom ribbon.
- Grade: MS62 (NGC).

Coin of 50 Leva with a mature portrait of King Boris III oriented to the left, in a realistic and sober style, with good facial modeling and finely rendered hair. The reverse presents a balanced, detailed botanical composition, combining ears of wheat, oak leaves and roses, symbols of prosperity and strength, with the value and date clearly centered. The piece shows well-preserved reliefs, mostly clean fields with slight contact marks typical of the grade, and a light, uniform silver patina that enhances the overall, offering an attractive and solid presence in hand.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
