- Inscriptions: Obverse: national emblem of the People's Republic of China with five stars above the Tiananmen Gate, surrounded by ears of grain and the inscription 中华人民共和国. Reverse: denomination 5 and the characters 五角 in the center, flanked by ears of wheat, with the date 1981 at the bottom.
- Grade: MS66 (NGC).
Brass circular coin, belonging to the late 20th-century regular currency series of the People's Republic of China. The obverse shows the national emblem in a sober, clearly defined style, with sharp relief and excellent detail in the ears of grain and the stars, reflecting the socialist symbolic language of the era. The reverse presents the face value in a balanced composition, with clear and well-proportioned typography, accompanied by agricultural motifs that add visual depth. A specimen in outstanding condition, with intense original luster, very clean fields and minimal surface marks, offering a presentation especially attractive and of great numismatic quality.
