LAOS. 10 Cents. 1952. Sisavang Vong (1904-1959)
- Value: 10 Cents.
- Reign: Sisavang Vong (1904-1959).
- Year: 1952.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: ROYAUME DU LAOS · legend in Lao · 1952, female bust to the right with a traditional hairstyle. Reverse: 10 CENTS, central geometric floral motif with stylized leaves, Lao characters and the year 1952.
- Grade: MS64 (NGC).
Aluminum coin with a central hole corresponding to the early issues of the Kingdom of Laos. The obverse features a right-profile female bust in a sober, realistic style, with good facial modeling and sharp details in the traditional hairstyle, surrounded by bilingual legends. The reverse shows a symmetrical central geometric floral motif framing the face value, with well-defined relief and proper alignment. The specimen retains attractive original luster, relatively clean fields, and light surface marks typical of the grade, offering a balanced and very appealing overall presentation.
