WMF porcelain table lamp with a massic porcelain body in Jugendstil/early Art Deco style, designed by Giulia Mangani, circa 1980–1990, Italy, height 56 cm, shade diameter 45 cm, weight 2.5 kg, in good used condition and in working order.

Large WMF table lamp with porcelain body – Art Nouveau circa 1900–1925
For sale is an exceptionally decorative and high-quality table lamp from WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), dating from the late Art Nouveau to early Art Deco period (circa 1900–1925).
The heavy metal base bears the original embossed WMF monogram as well as a historic manufacturer label. The construction speaks to a high-quality production of the Imperial era.
The bulbous porcelain body is richly decorated in cream white with cobalt blue and turquoise areas as well as fine gold ornaments and floral elements. The gilding is partially applied in relief and gives the lamp an especially elegant appearance.
Dimensions:
• Total height: approx. 56 cm
• Shade diameter: approx. 45 cm
• Impressive size with a commanding presence
Condition:
• Porcelain without visible cracks or restorations
• Age-related patina on metal (original condition, not polished)
• Gilding with light signs of use
• Electricals functional (not tested according to current standards)
• Lampshade presumably added later
This is an original historical object with corresponding age-related traces.
