Description from the seller

Rare Bayer wall enamel thermometer with vintage entomological graphics

Splendid and rare original Bayer advertising thermometer from the era, made of enameled metal with vivid color graphics depicting insects and larvae, a typical scientific and industrial aesthetic of the mid-20th century. A fascinating object, born for agricultural and technical environments, today a genuine collectible for lovers of vintage design, industrial décor, and historical advertising.

The enameled surface still displays a bright deep green tone, enhanced by serigraphed entomological illustrations and the original Bayer and Agro-kemi logos a/s Glostrup. In the center is housed the glass thermometer with a double Celsius/Fahrenheit scale perfectly legible, set in the original metal frame. On the back are German vintage control labels (“echtes email” and verification tag), confirming the authenticity of the piece and the quality of the enameled industrial production.

Dimensions approximately 34x16 cm. Complete with the lower and upper mounting hooks. Very good condition for its age, with normal signs of wear on the edges and back, light oxidation and small traces of use that tell its story without diminishing its strong aesthetic impact. The enamel is still bright, the graphics are sharp, and the overall presence is extraordinary.

A rare and decorative piece, perfect for enriching studios, lofts, workshops, pharmaceutical advertising collections, or vintage industrial environments, capable of combining scientific rigor and graphic poetry in a single timeless object. Please look carefully at the photos, which are an integral part of the item description. Quick shipment with tracking code and careful packaging."
