Refined Florentine frame in gilded wood, carved with volute motifs.
Theatrical, characterized by elaborate carvings and a gold finish, it features an intertwined beadwork decoration.
The frame is antique; the slight crazing in the gilding and the joints at the back demonstrate that this is a handmade object probably from the late 19th to early 20th century.
On the outermost part, the meticulous intertwined volute decorations stand out, creating a strong cascading scenic effect.
Positioned on a higher level, the front panel presents a distinctive inverted V decoration that enriches the frame with charm and prestige.
This frame is a true masterpiece by master artisans of bygone eras. Very well finished in detail and richly coated with plaster, it presents dimensions ideal for displaying prestigious artworks in galleries or refined interiors.
