Magnificent and authentic Levallois core from the Middle Paleolithic (Moustérian) in zoned orange flint typical of the Vienne region (86). Found in the Vienne department (86) in France. This core was first prepared and was later used to extract flakes called Levallois points. After extracting them, it was abandoned. We can see the typical shape of the cores with the preparatory removals. All of this in a magnificent, highly aesthetic zoned flint. A beautiful piece typical of this industry.
