Rare floor-standing coat rack with clear industrial inspiration, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The object stands out for its lattice-like structure composed of three square-section metal profiles, bolted spacers joining them to confer extreme rigidity and a strongly technical aesthetic.
Details of the crown:
The upper part consists of a ring of iron-plated metal onto which hooks of various types are inserted, probably designed for a specific use (perhaps public offices or laboratories):
- Eyelet hooks (umbrella holders or bag hooks).
- V-shaped hooks for coats.
- Shaped flat supports.
The feet are fitted with the original adjustable terminals (screw feet), a fundamental detail to ensure stability on irregular flooring.
Condition Report:
The object is preserved in its original state (vintage patina).
The black paint shows small chips and surface scratches consistent with age and use (visible in the close-up photos).
There is light surface oxidation on some metal hooks.
The structure is perfectly solid, with no deformation of the uprights.
