Twenty-one brown-black jasper beads form an antique necklace from the ancient Indus Valley cultures, dating to the 1st millennium AD, measuring 73 × 34 × 41 mm and in good condition, acquired in 2024 from a private collection in Belgium with a previous owner in 1992.

21 brown-black jasper bead necklace beads from the ancient Indus Valley cultures.
1st millennium CE
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the beautiful ancient patina has been preserved. Originally, ancient, sharp, carved, drilled and ground. The holes are ancient, handmade, irregular. Signs of wear and aging on the surface.
Acquired in the mid-1990s in Paris from Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
