Vintage gilded bronze umbrella stand from Italy in Egyptian Revival and Hollywood Regency style, dating to the second half of the 20th century, 50 cm high with a 26 cm diameter, in good used condition with patina and minor signs of wear.

Bronze-gilt umbrella stand with Egyptian motif - Egyptian Revival – Hollywood Regency style – second half of the 20th century
Elegant and decorative umbrella stand made entirely of gilded bronze, with rich pierced ornamentation and a central figure inspired by Egypt.
The piece stands out for its elaborate relief and pierced work, consisting of a cylindrical structure decorated with geometric and entwined vegetal motifs. In the center is depicted a male Egyptian figure in a dynamic pose, with traditional headdress and loincloth, framed by an ornamental medallion. This type of decoration evokes the taste for the Egyptianizing style that had a strong presence in 20th-century decorative design.
The gilded bronze finish adds warmth and a sophisticated character, ideal for elegant reception rooms, classic interiors, eclectic spaces, or Hollywood Regency environments.
The inner metal base allows catching the water from the umbrellas, making it functional as well as decorative.
