A fine silver gros coin, minted under Bohemond VI (AD 1251-1275). The obverse features an eight pointed star within an octofoil, with the legend +C.I.V.I.TAS:TR.I.POL.I. The reverse displays a cross in lobated square, with the legend +BOEMVUNDVS:COMES. The coin was likely minted in Tripoli between AD 1261-1275. Signs of wear as consistent with age.
