Description from the seller
Gilded and Lacquered Wall Mirror in Louis XVI Style – Naples, Late 18th / Early 19th Century
Important Neapolitan mirror in Louis XVI style, Lacquered in light tones and richly gilded with gold leaf. The frame, elegant and refined, features a rich decorative repertoire typical of neoclassical taste: foliate tendrils, interwoven ribbons, flowers, vases and finely carved botanical motifs.
In the upper part a female head modeled in relief stands out, a distinctive element of Neapolitan productions of the period.
The mirror, antique and contemporaneous, shows the pleasant oxidation of time, which gives the piece authentic charm and a scenographic presence.
The arched, lowered inner silhouette further harmonizes the composition, making the mirror perfect for elegant environments, entrances, living rooms or bedrooms in a classical style.
Dimensions:
Height: 114 cm
Width: 83 cm
Code: NXL7032
Keys or accessories are not included, unless otherwise indicated in the photo and description.
In good overall condition, bearing witness to the passage of time with signs of wear that, however, do not compromise the beauty, form and integrity of these unique pieces.
Please note that, being antique/vintage items, they may present slight damage or signs from their long journey through the years. We believe these imperfections add authentic character and a special charm to each piece.
Delivery does not include porterage; if you want delivery to a floor level you must say so promptly after purchase, and shipping abroad is not feasible.
To ensure a full view of the items, we invite you to carefully examine the photos provided, as they are an integral part of the item's description. In this way you can fully appreciate their authenticity and avoid unpleasant inconveniences.
