Two detailed botanical plates depicting various species of plants with their roots and flowers. Taken from the work "I Discorsi" or "Erbario". Include Latin botanical descriptions alongside each plant and the noble coat of arms of the work’s recipient in the bottom right corner. These prints were used as a living herbarium for the reliable identification of aromatic, medicinal, and wild edible plants. These prints are housed in two beautiful frames of smooth walnut burl wood. Dimensions: 44 x 59 x 2 cm; 1.8 kg.
