Design: It consists of three strands of braided cord that come together in a loop at the top.
The Balls: At the end of each strand is a weighted ball. In this case they appear to be made of metal (often silver or brass) with engraved patterns, an imitation material such as bone, which indicates a ceremonial or luxury edition.
Use: Although historically used for hunting and catching livestock by entangling the legs, such richly decorated sets today are often used as wall decor or during the Malambo, a spectacular Argentine folk dance.
