Decorative ornament - Italy - Ecclesiastical coat of arms

Ecclesiastical coat of arms in wood, from around the mid-19th century. Hand-carved from a single piece of wood and then painted in the center with a cardinal's coat of arms. It probably decorated a painting frame or was positioned above a door. There are light wear/missing in the curls at the top, the gilding and the painting are in good condition, measuring 23 x 20 x 4 cm. Due to current regulations it cannot be shipped outside the European Union.
