The lamps are manufactured in the Herda lighting workshop in Amsterdam (Herda 1946-1997) where high-quality lighting was designed by several Dutch top designers. and was manufactured manually.
The name Herda was created by the merger of the founders; Mr Herwerden (HER) and the three brothers Daniëls (DA).
