AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Set of blown glass tea ware with an impressive decoration of flowers and foliage, entirely realized in gold-inlay.

The flower crown was crafted with great delicacy and precision to achieve a relief effect. A work of art of great preciousness. Practically a work of goldsmithing, entirely handmade, by a delicate brush application.

While creating these small jewels, the artist paid attention to every detail: the inlay of the coasters was done from the underside to avoid any rubbing and preserve the motif, like a placemat, and the bottom of the cups is adorned with a small flower also applied from the underside.

A masterful work. Probably from the Napoléon III period.

The set consists of 9 pieces:

- 1 large hot water pitcher, height 18 cm, diameter 17 cm, length 26 cm
- 1 Sugar bowl, height 12 cm, diameter 11 cm
- 1 Creamer/jar, height 10 cm, diameter 11 cm, length 13 cm
- 3 Cups, diameter 7 cm, height 5 cm
- 3 Coasters, diameter 12 cm, height 1.5 cm

In excellent condition, just a few light wearings of the gold threads on the cup rim and the sugar bowl lid. (See photos no. 1, 6, 2 and 20)
Nothing significant regarding the intact quality of the remarkable motif inlay. For purists or collectors, a light restoration of the threads is always possible.

Magnificent!
