Description from the seller

The story of the Illy X3 machine is tied to the technological evolution and design of illycaffè, a company founded in Trieste in 1933.

Origins and Innovation
Founding: Francesco Illy founded the company with the dream of offering the best coffee in the world. As early as 1935 he invented the Illetta, considered the progenitor of modern espresso machines for its system that separated water heating from pressure.
Evolution of Systems: Over the decades, Illy has introduced fundamental innovations such as pressurization for coffee preservation (1934) and the first E.S.E. capsules (1974).

The Illy X3 Machine and the X-CAPS system
Author Design: The X3 model was designed by architect and designer Luca Trazzi, known for his style that blends minimalist aesthetics with functionality. Trazzi has also worked on other iconic Illy models, such as the X1.
Recent Launch: The X3 is part of the new X-CAPS system, recently presented (also in contexts like Design Week) as an evolution that is sustainable and technological.

Sustainability: The X3 reflects the company’s current commitment to the environment: it is made with 50% recycled plastic or from renewable sources, and uses aluminum capsules that are recyclable at 85%.
Hyperinfusion Technology: This model integrates hyperinfusion technology, designed to optimize the extraction of aromas and to guarantee a full-bodied espresso with a persistent crema.
Today Illy is led by the third generation of the family, with Andrea Illy as President, continuing the tradition of innovation started almost a century ago.

Dimensions: about 25 x 10 x 38 cm.

Conditions: New In the original packaging
