Pair of palm-support vases made in Italy in the early 1900s. The gold-plated palm vases with mercury amalgam in Neoclassical or Empire style, characterized by vase or amphora shapes with foliage decorations and elaborate feet. Used in noble palaces and chapels to hold blessed palm fronds or as decoration.

Good condition, normal signs of wear over time; there are stains as shown in the photo.

Dimensions: height about 23 cm, total weight about 11 kg.

I do not ship outside the European Community.

The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
