Authentic Roman coin, set in modern silver pendant with decorative border, making the coin wearable as a pendant. The new silver frame encloses the ancient coin and if desired can be removed without damaging the coin.
The pendant will be delivered in a jewellery box, making it a perfect gift for any occasion.

Obverse: Laureate head right, wearing aegis.
Reverse: Moneta standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae.
Diameter: ± 29,8 mm
Height: ± 41,3 mm including bail
Ref: RIC II (new) 303
Certificate of Authenticity available upon request (pdf-format).
Good condition and detail. Wearable (new silver frame with decorated border and bail). The coin shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
DOMITIAN, son of Vespasian and Roman Emperor (81-96 AD). He lead successful campaigns against the Germanic tribes, Dacians and Sarmatians and is also known for his building projects, including the Colosseum and Temple of Jupiter.
Modern historians regard Domitian as a complex figure who was both a patron of the arts and a successful military leader, but also a cruel and paranoid ruler. Domitian was the last Emperor to be deified after his death.
