Rare Daunian oinochoe with an ovoid body, pronounced shoulder, ring foot with a concave profile, trilobed cloverleaf opening, and a vertical, lens-shaped handle. Diverse black-and-red decorations, consisting of bands, dots, lattice patterns, and stylized birds (see the images of similar decorative elements in the research literature).
Type: Form XI, type 17 (De Juliis: La ceramica geometrica della Daunia. Florence 1977, see images).
Century/Period: 4th–3rd century BCE
Origin: Apulia
Material: Terracotta
Condition: Intact. Chips on the foot. Occasional encrustations and wear.
