Baule - Côte d'Ivoire

Excellent long Baule knife, with its original sheath adorned with the traditional reddish shells. The rear part of the leather sheath is finely decorated with repoussé, the handle topped with a metal ornament and antique brass studs. Some flaws due to age and use, but generally good condition. The blade shows rust but is well preserved.
