Description from the seller
Three splendid knights on horseback:
1) A horseman of the Genoa Cavalry Regiment "Genova Cavalleria", which is a unit of the Italian Army. Founded in 1683, it is one of the oldest cavalry regiments, specialized in reconnaissance, and composed of dragoons. It boasts a glorious history.
2) A horse-mounted Grenadier of the French Imperial Guard, known as the "Giants", were an elite unit of Napoleon's heavy cavalry, created in 1804. Closely bound to the person of the Emperor, they stood out for their height, imposing uniform with a fur hat, and participation in crucial actions. An integral part of the Old Guard, they were considered an elite force. Napoleon's horse-mounted Guard, elite units of the First Empire (1804-1815), included prestigious formations such as the Horse Grenadiers (the "Old Guard"), the Horse Hunters (the equivalent of Chasseurs à cheval), the dragoons, and the Mamelukes. Characterized by distinctive uniforms and high battlefield skill, the cavalry was fundamental for decisive charges.
3) A French Uhlan. They were an elite light cavalry, defined as the "eyes and ears" of the Napoleonic armies for reconnaissance and screening. Characterized by flamboyant Hungarian-inspired uniforms, sabers, and great boldness, they were considered the best swordsmen of the Grande Armée. They operated in vanguard, liaison, and bold raids.
The conditions are very good.
