As a photographer, the challenge lies in capturing the moment when a liquid substance interacts with the body, in a way that takes the viewer on a sensuous journey, that not only invites visual perception but also evokes feelings of touch, taste, and imagination. If successful, the result is a unique moment frozen in time, never to be repeated. The result is photographic imagery that is sensual, provocative, and erotic.
Near Washington, D.C., Jim has spent years photographing landscapes, monuments, masonry, and still lifes, and his beautiful images have adorned the offices of doctors, lawyers, and dentists. It was only when his daughter asked Jim to take a few maternity photos for her that he turned to portrait photography. With this new passion, Jim fully immersed himself in the study of lighting, posing, and the business side of photography, and soon he perfected what would quickly become his specialized genre, fine art nude. He always aimed higher, to keep improving, and yes, to go even further.
