Description

Elegant Italian walnut fall-front secretaire dating to the late 19th – early 20th century, made with walnut veneer over solid wood frame.

The piece presents a sober, balanced line, attributable to the neoclassical / late Empire style, with a slightly curved front and walnut grain arranged symmetrically.
The upper part consists of a fall-front that opens to use as a writing surface, while the lower part is composed of several spacious drawers.

Original interiors, locks present, one with a key and a decorative tassel.
Original patina preserved, wear marks consistent with age that attest to its authenticity.

Conditions

Good overall condition.
Normal signs of time (small abrasions, veneer wear in some places, interiors raw as typical of the period).
Structurally stable. Not recently restored.
Pallet shipment available ONLY curbside (no delivery to upper floors).
