Description from the seller

Art Nouveau bronze valet tray – signed F. Claesens

Elegant patinated bronze tray/valet tray decorative in bronze, oval-shaped, dating from the late 19th – early 20th century, the Art Nouveau period.

The decoration is richly adorned with three-dimensional floral motifs, typical of the naturalistic vocabulary of Art Nouveau, with stylized foliage and finely worked flowers.

The integrated side handles emphasize the object's elegant lines.

The piece is signed “F. Claesens,” visible on the rim, a sought-after signature for this type of period decorative objects.

Beautiful old patina, even, with normal signs of use and the passage of time, without any impact or deformation.
