Vase - Porcelain - China

A Chinese porcelain bottle vase with a monochrome blood-red glaze, displaying rich deep and bright nuances. The piece is characterized by a fine tressaille, or a light intentional crackle produced in the body, which adds a subtle texture beneath the glaze. The long, straight neck ends in a pale off-white or cream lip, typical of this type of firing where the material thins at the top. The object rests on a circular wooden base, carved and pierced with volute motifs. Its dimensions are approximately 26 cm in height with a circumference of about 40.5 cm, and a foot diameter of about 7 cm. Weight about 990 g and it is in very good condition.
