At the pre-sale start of 2002/2003, interested parties of the SLR Mc. Laren had to make a prepayment of 50,000 euros, and the delivery of a Cocoon offered here was made after receipt of the prepayment.

The massive silver-colored Cocoon, branded with the SLR logo and embedded in a large black presentation box with foam insert, is housed in a heavy, blackened metal block with the SLR logo, secured with screws.
The Cocoon contains a serial code that originally granted access to an exclusive SLR portal, which provided detailed insights into the car and its production.

Extraordinarily heavy and large-format version, an incredibly hard-to-find collectible that shines with very high auction results.

The Cocoon is delivered along with the also very rare book folder 'SLR Unlimited,' which in two volumes compares the legendary Mercedes 300 SL, the legitimate successor of the Neuteit, to the SLR Mc. Laren.
