Everest K2 Typewriter – Made in Italy – 1950s/1960s

Everest K2 typewriter, manufactured in Italy and equipped with an AZERTY keyboard, originally intended for the Francophone market. It is a portable model from the mid-20th century, known for its rugged metal construction, reliable mechanism, and the elegant design typical of the era.

Like all antique machines, it would benefit from a service and tune-up; the keys, carriage, and space bar operate, but it would obviously need some overhaul.

The specimen retains original elements such as the two-tone ink ribbon, the carriage’s metric ruler, and the inscription “Made in Italy” on the chassis. Its overall condition shows use consistent with its age, with surface wear, but it maintains an aesthetic appeal ideal for collectors, vintage decoration, or restoration.

A representative piece of European classical typing, difficult to find in this format and with an industrial charm highly valued in today's market.
