Sofa - Mahogany - Liberty Loveseat

n.1 Small two-seat settee, often described as "a pozzetto" because of the curved back that flows uninterrupted into the armrests. The frame is typically made of mahogany. The settee dates from the late 19th century or the early 20th century, and is a classic example of the Art Nouveau style (known in Italy as the Liberty style). The piece can be dated to between the late 1800s and 1910–1920. The Liberty style is recognizable by the wood's curved and sinuous lines, which seek to imitate natural and organic forms.
