Coin of 5 Mils in a base alloy with a central hole, a distinctive feature of the British Mandate emissions in Palestine. The obverse presents a finely detailed wreath of branches surrounded by the territorial denominations in English, Hebrew and Arabic, reflecting the multilingual administration of the period. The reverse shows the value also in the three languages, with clear and balanced typography. It retains the original luster visible in fields and reliefs, with slight contact marks typical of the MS63 grade, maintaining an overall fresh and homogeneous appearance. A representative specimen of circulating coinage in the 1930s, in a historical context marked by increasing political tensions in the region under British administration.
