Antique Column - 1850-1900 - Ancient marble column

I do not ship—local pickup only at my home. A splendid ancient Italian Carrara marble column dating from around 1860, about 112 cm high, with a finely worked capital; it has a base, and is in perfect preserved condition, with no chips. As you can see in the photos, the colors are magnificent. The material was a luxury in the 1800s, and the workmanship is entirely handmade. It belonged to my ancestors and has been kept in the family palace, rich in history and testimony to great taste and artistic beauty. I cannot ship and prefer pickup at my home to avoid damage to such a beautiful lot. Thank you, I don’t ship. The lot must be picked up in Piedmont, Novi Ligure, and the buyer must bring all packaging materials and a wooden crate to safeguard the column; I do not have packaging tools.”}{
