Description from the seller

This device is available in black or champagne. Both versions were released simultaneously.

Nikon wanted to reconnect with complete yet easy-to-understand cameras. Minolta had done the same with its 600si Classic. There are few 'drawer' buttons hiding a multitude of functions once you mix them with this or that, or incomprehensible menus on an LCD that lacks the user-friendliness we would like to grant it. Here, it’s a return to 'One button, one function.'

All of this does not detract from the camera’s quality in the least. On the contrary, since it still makes substantial use of metals for its construction, whether for its chassis or its mount.

Its viewfinder is very comfortable, to the point of rivaling Nikon’s top models. The indicators appearing in the viewfinder are very clear. They appear as liquid-crystal displays on a yellow background. Sharp and unambiguous.

Autofocus is very precise, as is the exposure measurement. In short, the 'substantive core.' The only drawback is that the motor is merely a slow, slow rearm[er]... slow... slow.
