Roman bronze handgrip (applique) from the Oud-Romeins, Keizerrijk, dating to the 2nd–3rd century, 6.6 cm high, 17.2 cm wide, 5 cm deep, weighing 454 g, acquired in 1994 from a Dutch antique dealer, with a dark green‑brown patina and authentic/original designation.

From the 'Gesink collection', a heavy Roman bronze object, a handle that has been soldered onto tableware. Weight 454 grams. An exceptionally fine object with a dark green/brown patina. Included in the collection in 1994. Provenance: antique shop in London.
Shipping method: sent by registered mail, well packed in a package of 20x10x8 cm.
