Antique silver teapot with rechaud, Danish silver, A. Dragsted.
Beautifully executed Danish silver teapot on a burner (rechaud), manufactured by the silversmith Arent Nicolai Dragsted in Copenhagen (1821-1898). Crown jeweler to the Danish Court

The bulb-shaped kettle with a richly ornamented three-legged stand with spirit lamp. Equipped with original tap with a wooden knob and matching lid crown. Stands on 4 wooden feet. Two outside fold-out ornaments to grip the kettle. The whole is executed in typical 19th-century design with light Art Nouveau influences.

The kettle bears the Danish silver marks and the Crown of Dragsted.
