My English grandmother was, at the age of twenty, in 1892 the governess of the 15-year-old Josephina Marie Ghislaine Marguerite Cornet d’Elzius de Peissant (Grimbergen, Flemish Brabant, Belgium). In 1898 Josephina married Count Charles de Brouchoven De Bergeyck.
Governess Aggie (from Agnes Morton, later Mrs. Sinnott) and her pupil (Mitcha) maintained written contact for many years.
