The very rare Turbo marmoratus, also known as the Green Turban, Variegated Turban, or Large Green Turban, is a large species of sea snail. It features a heavy, thick shell with ribbed walls around the upper spire. The Green Turban’s shell belongs to the family Turbinidae (turban shells). They have a beautiful interior nacre with marbled variations of green, chocolate brown, and natural ivory/brown tones.

Due to the weight of some of the larger shells, they have historically frequently been used as paperweights.
