Ancient Ecclesiastical Seal - Bronze, Wood - 1850-1900

Antique ecclesiastical wax seal with bronze matrix and original wooden handle.
From the imprint the following Latin inscriptions are clearly legible:
"ECCLESIAS S. MARCELLI P.P DE LUNDI PRO."
With depiction of the pope with tiara and papal symbols (keys of Saint Peter).
Presents a typical Latin formula of official ecclesiastical acts from the 19th century.
The inscription “DIE LUNDI” (“on Monday”) likely indicates ceremonial or administrative use.
Second half of the 19th century (period of the pontificate of Pius IX).
Original patina not removed
Normal signs of aging
Handle with longitudinal crack (visible in the photo)
Matrix clearly readable in imprint
